Kelly’s bridal alterations journey actually began before she purchased her Wed2B gown. She initially visited me for a pre-fit bridal consultation with a different wedding dress purchased from Outlet by Aurora.
After discussing the fit and alteration possibilities, Kelly ultimately decided that the first dress wasn’t quite the one for her and chose a completely different gown from Wed2B.
When she returned with her new wedding dress, we could start afresh and concentrate on creating the fit and finish she wanted for her wedding day.

This bride was wonderfully organised and booked her alterations well in advance of her wedding day, allowing plenty of time for detailed fittings and preparation.
After the initial alterations were completed, she made a change to her wedding footwear and decided to wear Converse trainers instead of her original 4-inch heels.
Because footwear height directly affects the finished hem length, the gown required a further adjustment to ensure the skirt remained perfectly balanced and practical for walking, dancing and enjoying the celebrations.
The hem was carefully reworked to suit her new wedding-day shoes, ensuring the dress continued to flow beautifully while maintaining the correct proportions.

A carefully designed bustle was added to this Wed2B gown, allowing the train to be lifted neatly while maintaining the elegance of the dress.
The finished gown allowed the bride to enjoy every part of her wedding day — from walking down the aisle to celebrating in comfort.
Final Wedding Dress Preparation
Before collection, the gown was professionally steamed and prepared ready for the wedding day.
Steam pressing is the final stage that brings a bridal gown to life, removing storage and transport creases while allowing the layers of fabric, lace and tulle to fall beautifully.
