The bride initially came to me considering a fully bespoke dress, but with budget in mind, I guided her towards selecting a well-constructed Stella York gown that could be transformed.
The original design featured a Bardot-style collar and a sweetheart neckline. However, the bride required a more modest finish.
To achieve this:
- The Bardot collar was removed completely
- The bodice was restructured from the base
- Irish lace was sourced and integrated across the upper design
- A discreet modesty panel was added to soften the neckline
- Bespoke buttons were introduced to elevate the final finish
The result was a fully reimagined gown — refined, balanced, and aligned with her personal vision.
