As a couture-trained dressmaker specialising in complex bridal alterations, I regularly work on wedding gowns from a wide range of international bridal designers. This bride chose a beautiful gown by Anny Lin Bridal, a designer known for combining contemporary tailoring with elegant, feminine bridal styling. This particular Anny Lin Bridal Alterations project was especially memorable because I was entrusted with alterations for the entire bridal party. Alongside fitting and perfecting Megan’s wedding gown, I also altered all of the bridesmaids’ dresses and carried out alterations to the mother of the bride’s outfit to ensure everyone looked beautifully coordinated on the wedding day.
Megan’s sister, one of the bridesmaids, required particularly careful planning, as she was expecting a baby at the time of the wedding. To achieve the most accurate result, I scheduled her final fitting just one week before the wedding so that her hem could be completed to the perfect length alongside the rest of the bridal party.
