I offer bridal alterations in Sutton & Cheam, with a private, appointment-only fitting process designed to achieve a flawless, couture-level finish. Weddings are in full swing, and my diary is open for pre-booked bridal fittings.

Bridal Alterations in Sutton & Cheam — Your Fitting Process for Brides Across South London
I specialise exclusively in bridal wear and complex gown transformations.
With over 22 years of experience in the fashion and bridal industry, I have worked on everything from precise size adjustments to complete dress reconstructions.
My work includes:

Pricing
Most wedding dress alterations fall between £200–£600 as a general guideline.More intricate gowns or bespoke additions such as sleeves, embroidery, corsetry or structural changes are priced according to the work involved.
As every dress is constructed differently, I do not provide estimates online, by phone or via email.
Prefit Consultation (£30)
Due to high demand, I offer a structured 45-minute Prefit Consultation where your dress is professionally pinned and assessed in detail. A written itemised estimate is provided.
£20 is deducted from your final alterations total (or storage fee if you leave the dress with me). The prefit consultation fee is non-refundable.
Prefit consultations should take place several months before the wedding date. If your wedding is very close, a prefit may not be possible due to time constraints.

Fitting Process & Timescale
First Fitting
4–5 weeks before your wedding
(or 4–5 weeks before travel for destination weddings)
Duration: 30–45 minutes (longer if bridesmaids)You must bring:
• The exact heels you are wearing on the wedding day
• Your chosen underwear/shapewear
If shoes are forgotten and hemming is required, a £20 charge will be added for an additional appointment.
A 50% deposit is required at this fitting before work begins.You must maintain your measurements from this fitting to your wedding date
Final Fitting
Approximately 2 weeks before the wedding
Duration: 15–45 minutes
Please bring your heels again.Remaining balance is payable at this appointment (cash or bank transfer).After final approval, you sign off your alterations as complete.
Important: Weight & Body Changes
Significant weight loss, weight gain, pregnancy or body changes after the first fitting may require further work and additional charges. If further alterations are required after sign-off, additional charges will apply.
Early Fittings (If Requested)
If you prefer to be fitted much earlier than 4–5 weeks before the wedding, I can accommodate this.
However:
• An additional fitting 4 weeks before the wedding will still be required
• If your body shape changes during this time, further alterations may be necessary and charged accordingly
Collection & Steam Press
After final fitting, most brides leave their dress for professional steam pressing. Collection is arranged as a separate appointment, usually a few days before your wedding or travel.
Collection is for handover only.
The dress is fully pressed, quality-checked and packed in front of you.
There is no try-on at collection, as this would compromise the pressing and preparation.
If you are late for collection, packing in front of you may not be possible due to appointment scheduling. Steam pressing and destination wedding packing services are available.
Insurance & Security
All dresses are kept under CCTV, motion detection and smoke protected and I am fully insured to store, alter and transport your gown until collection.
Parking
Free road parking is available. You may block my driveway if necessary, but please do not block neighbours.
Bridesmaids Notice
Please wear the exact underwear or shapewear intended for the wedding day. Sports bras are not suitable for fittings, as they affect the final fit.
