This South Croydon bridal alterations story followed a bride who wanted her Maggie Sottero wedding dress to feel beautifully secure, supportive and effortlessly elegant throughout her entire wedding day.

Invisible Internal Support for a Structured Bridal Gown
One of the most important parts of these bridal alterations was engineering support inside the gown without compromising the neckline or delicate corset structure.
Structured strapless bridal gowns can often shift during movement across a long wedding day, especially during walking, dancing and photography. The bride wanted complete confidence and support without visible straps or heavy internal construction changing the look of the dress.
Using couture bridal alteration techniques, I created a discreet internal support system with transparent elastic carefully built into the bodice itself.
