After purchasing her Ronald Joyce gown through the Aurora Bride outlet collection, the bride was referred to my studio for specialist bridal alterations and couture fitting ahead of the wedding celebrations in Essex.
Although the couple are based Abroad, the wedding celebrations brought family and friends together from South London, with strong family ties to South Norwood and the wedding taking place in Essex. The gown needed to feel secure, elegant and effortless throughout the celebrations while maintaining the dramatic romance of the original design.
The final result created a silhouette that felt regal yet effortless, perfectly suited to such an elegant international wedding celebration.

One of the most beautiful elements of this Ronald Joyce wedding dress alteration was the versatility built into the final fitting process. The soft Bardot sleeves were refined so they could either be worn draped elegantly off the shoulder for the ceremony or discreetly tucked in to create a cleaner strapless neckline for the evening celebrations.
This allowed the bride to transition effortlessly between two distinct looks throughout the wedding day while maintaining the integrity and balance of the original gown design.
The off-the-shoulder silhouette created a romantic, couture-inspired softness for the formal part of the celebrations, while the strapless version gave the dress a more modern and sculptural feel for the reception.
