Garment portfolio
Here are some examples of Zen’s work. The pictures include bridal wear, formal wear, occasional wear, summer dresses and children wear. Some of the outfits are copies of a favourite dress of a client’s. For a more updated gallery for Bespoke and Alterations look on the Facebook page. The Pictures below show first toile fits, outfits in various stages before completion and completely finished outfits. The fabrics are all given by clients for each project.

- Red Dress with StoleI made this dress for a lovely client.This was a copy of a dress client loved. I designed a matching stole with a fringe all done by hand with swarovski crystals.
- Anna BrocklebankCompletely made from scratch for Anna's 60th birthday celebrations.

- Wedding dressA weddding dress with the netting in red and red ribbon edging as the client wanted
- Polka Dotted Summer dressA summer dress to celebrate polka dots 🙂 with a hem that has piping attached to make it more bouncy!
- Floral SkirtIt's a double circle skirt with piping all around the hem
- Flower girl outfitI made two of the same design . One in peach and this one for a lovely client.
- Knot twist dressIts a dress done in silk jersey. A work in progress I will put a picture of the complete dress soon.
- Floral Double circle skirt DressIts a dress with a double circle skirt front and back with collar and hand made covered buttons.
- Geometric Double circle skirt DressIts a dress with a double circle skirt front and back with collar and hand made covered buttons.
- Woolen CoatIts a panelled coat with a collar and two piece sleeve. I made it from scratch using draping method.
- Cotton Jersey dressThe client had a dress which I copied . I then lowered the pleated part as it was more flaterring than the original.
- Cotton Jersey knot dressThis is the rough toile stage of the knot twist dress shown earlier.
- Floral dressI first did a toile rough fit and made this dress for a client to her measurements.
- Mother of Bride dressThe client had a lump at the back so I made this dress for her and catered to her body shape.
- Reversible White dressIt's a reversible dress, geometric on one side and floral on the other.
- Black reversible /Plaid taffetaThis was a completely reversible dress that can be worn three ways as shown( picture on left when dress incomplete) .
- Close-up of reversible dressJust to show a clearer picture. I used a reversible zip for the dress.
- First fit stageThis was a 1950s inspired dress for client's own wedding. The skirt was a full circle skirt with layers of netting underneath and a shrug.
- Mid fit stageThis was how the dress looked at the mid stage fitting.The hem and shrug had a shaped satin band all finished by hand.
- Final FitThis was a three piece suit.It was for the client's Wedding.
- Wedding EnsembleThe outfit was made from scratch and had swarovski crystals around the neckline I also made matching hair combs for this lovely client.
- Hand CrochetI made this for my niece when she was born. I did all the crochet by hand.
- Black Halter-neckI designed the top for a client. We just made the front slit smaller so it could be more wearable. It had two ties at the back.

- Single Shoulder TopMy own design. The top had a shoulder piece that you could drape over or wear around the neck.It had a bead fringe all around.
